Principal Product Manager

I lead strategic initiatives that scale SaaS for millions.

Currently setting strategy and direction for multi-tenant SaaS platforms at GitLab, leading cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade results.

The Basics

  • From Code to Product: I started as a software engineer with a deep love of DevOps (and a love/hate relationship with Jenkins). Over time, I discovered that enabling people and solving problems with a team was best achieved through product work.
  • Driven by Purpose: Inspired by Larry Wall's three virtues, I have a deep need for the things I do to have purpose and value. I'm always open to changing my mind when presented with fresh information.
  • Beyond Work: Outside of product strategy, I'm a gym-goer, a fair-weather cyclist, a pi-hole user, and a peak gold nova CS:GO player who doesn't drink coffee after 4 PM.

Examples of my work

GitLab.com Multi-Tenant SaaS

Managing the core strategy and direction for one of the world's largest DevOps platforms. Leading cross-functional teams to ensure scalability and reliability for millions of active developers globally.

Runway (Internal PaaS)

To innovate faster outside our core Ruby monolith, we built Runway. It's a specialized internal Platform-as-a-Service that streamlines the provisioning and deployment of containerized satellite services, empowering product teams to self-serve production-ready infrastructure.

Multi-Region Delivery

To deliver latency-sensitive AI features like GitLab Duo to developers around the world, we evolved Runway into a highly available multi-region deployment platform. Because when deciding to accept an AI code suggestion, milliseconds matter.
